Lisa joined the firm in February 2001
as a case handler and qualified with CPI (Certificate of Proficiency
in Insolvency) in 2004.
Lisa sat the JIEB Examinations at the
December 2007 sitting and passed two of the three exams required
to become a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Lisa intends
continuing with her studies and hopes to go on to qualify
at the November 2008 sitting.
Lisa has also had extensive experience
in the accountancy profession working with small to medium
size businesses.
Lisa's experience has included the following:
- Financial accounts preparation
for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders from
manual and computerised accounting systems.
- Audit of private limited companies.
- Book-keeping: Writing up analysed
cash books, sales and purchase day books, bank reconciliation
statements and advising clients on doing this type of work.
- VAT return completion, including
retailers schemes.
- Preparation of wages and salaries,
using manual and computerised pay-roll methods.
- Preparation of employers annual
return forms, P14's and P11D's and submission to the Inland
Revenue.
- Supervising and training accounting
technicians.
- All aspects of general office
administration and control of the accounting function of
a construction company.
